The OK ABLE Program empowers individuals with disabilities to build financial security without risking eligibility for crucial benefits like SSI and Medicaid. It offers tax-deferred growth on savings. Earnings are tax free so long as they are spent for qualified disability expenses such as housing, health, assistive technology, education, legal expenses, transportation, and much more. Contributions to Oklahoma STABLE accounts are state income tax deductible, up to $20,000 per year for joint tax filers and up to $10,000 per year for those filing as single.
